Most Candidates in Danger of Winning Election

Framingham, MA

A new Quinnipiac University poll has found that most candidates running for city office this year could end up winning in November. In fact, many will likely have the additional hurdle of getting past a non-existent preliminary race in their district. If they somehow squeak through to the general election, then they could face a serious threat from absolutely nobody, which in turn could unfortunatey lead to their election by default.

Said one candidate facing these challenges, “yeah, the way things look now, I am worried that I might not be able to find a path to defeat. Crap, I may end up having to do this damn job come January.”

But that’s ok. They will probably quit after two years, anyway…opening up a seat for some other unopposed candidate. The charter did promise efficiency. Democracy is so overrated.
